The Moehlen Family {knoxville family photography + 6 month baby photography}

I love this family! Since we have moved to Knoxville, we have gotten to know our neighbors - the Moehlens. One year later, and I feel so lucky to have such great friends living so close to us. From neighborhood walks and babysitting switch-offs, to spur-of-the-moment dinners and BBQ's, they are such a fun and loving family, and I am so blessed to have the opportunity to become friends with them!

I was so excited for them when they welcomed their little boy Lukas into the world. I had the honor of doing their son's newborn and 3 month photos, and it's been an absolute joy watching this little guy grow up. I know it won't be long - just a blink of an eye - before Lukas and my own son are both hanging out and having little-boy adventures together, as only little boys can.

Now Lukas is 6 months old, and of course I couldn't wait when they asked me to do his 6 month photos, as well as some family ones. Add in some absolutely perfect weather, and you have a recipe for awesomeness (and yes, I totally just said that!).

The Splitter Family {knoxville family photography}

I was so excited when the Splitters contacted me for some family and baby photos! I love photographing at this time of the year when all the flowers are blooming and the grass is green and the weather is wonderful. You just can't beat it!

The Splitters were such a fun family to work with. Big brother Max definitely kept us all entertained and on our toes, and so did baby Jack - who, it seemed, was trying to eat handfuls of grass (or his own feet) in between shots! Hahaha. Definitely made me smile. Kids like these two really sum up exactly why I love photographing children.

Brotherly love.

Max was a big fan of my pinwheel that I bring to get kids' attention... I guess it served it's purpose - but perhaps a bit too well!

Once baby Jack saw his stuffed giraffe, he was all smiles!

This photo is adorable and just makes me smile! Like father like son.

A big thanks to the Splitter family for letting me capture your beautiful family!
