Back-to-School Mini Sessions 2015 {knoxville children's photography}
This is the first time I've done Back-to-School themed mini sessions, and I'm so excited! The theme is more of a vintage school look, which I am absolutely in LOVE with. For some reason when I think of cute school-themed photos (or most anything-themed photos, funnily enough!), I immediately think vintage.
So I had this vague vintage idea in my head, but I was missing the most important piece - a school desk. I started looking, and even asked a friend to look, too (thanks Sarah!), but eventually after much searching I found the perfect desk. A real red-painted-metal vintage antique school desk from mid-century - and it is awesome! Totally worth the drive and all the searching! It fits my vision to a T, and was perfect to build the rest of the accessories around. In the end, I'm pleased as punch about the whole setup!
Of course, my go-to kiddo model was ready for his photo shoot! Now that he's getting older, he's actually coming to understand a little more what's going on, so he was pretty excited (for once!) that we were going to take his photo, and sort-of smiled a couple times for me (mostly thanks to my husband's hilarious antics, and the paper airplanes I made for props! But hey, I'll take it!). I totally consider it a successful session with him (he definitely has a case of "photographer child syndrome" - it can be very difficult to get good photos from him!).
Since school has officially already started, I'll only be offering limited mini-sessions in the next 2 weeks - so I'd grab a spot before they are all gone! For more info, check out the graphic at the bottom of this post, and please email me to reserve a spot if you are interested.
Here's the low-down on the mini sessions. Let me know if you want a spot!
